Angel Jambazki: Bulgarian MEPs do not have a personal opinion and vote according to their superiors

"Unfortunately, the right-wing groups that are defined in the current European Parliament are three, not two, which is far worse news. It was necessary to look for an option to single out a larger and stronger group, as there was in the previous parliament", stated Djambazki

There is severe hypocrisy in political life in Europe and this will not end well. This is what he said in the show “Face to face“ the former MEP Angel Jambazki.
„Unfortunately, the groups on the right that are defined in the current European Parliament are three, not two, which is far worse news. We had to look for an option for the separation of a larger and stronger group, as there was in the previous parliament,”, stated Dzambazki.

According to him, in the current construction of the EP, there will again be a consensus, which will be aimed at the national interest.
He expects to see in the coming days a consensus between leftists and liberals in favor of Ursula von der Leyen as President of the European Commission.

„This means more Ursulism in Bulgaria. This means crushing the Bulgarian energy industry. This means more than the “Green Deal” with everything bad about it in the fields of agriculture, energy and whatever else you can think of. This means more empty talk and lies”, is categorical Angel Jambazki.
The former MEP advised the current representatives of Bulgaria in the EP not to vote for the re-election of Ursula von der Leyen as President of the European Commission.
If she is elected, this minority policy will continue. It is the politics of the minority pushing this ugly and mindless agenda. Our representatives in the EPP said during the election campaign that they were against the “Green Deal”, but it was Ursula von der Leyen who closed this deal and she insisted on closing the coal plants in Bulgaria. Then all the Bulgarian MPs admitted that this was bad for our country, but now they will vote for it again”, he also said.
According to him, Bulgarian MEPs do not have a personal opinion and vote according to “their superiors, who are not known whether they are in Bulgaria or abroad”.

He commented on the shooting of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and the candidate for the next US President Donald Trump, and that he would not be surprised if the next assassination attempt was aimed at Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, because he is not comfortable with many with his way of speaking.
Asked if he does not miss work in the EP, he answered: “In politics, life neither begins nor ends with one term“.
