Antoineta Tsoneva: The implementation of the third mandate is a difficult exercise

She pointed out that nothing can change until tomorrow, when the second mandate will be handed out, since their desire to have their declaration discussed and submitted to the parliament is "a plan, which could not be fulfilled" in the parameters they proposed

In this environment, sustainable governance could be very difficult to create.

This is what Antoineta Tsoneva from PP-DB told BNR.

She indicated that nothing could change until tomorrow, when the second mandate will be handed out, after their desire to have their declaration debated and tabled in parliament was "a plan that could not be carried out&quot ; in the parameters they offer.

"Our approach was not supported – the search for this reprieve in time. But the need to talk was confirmed."

In order for the systemic prerequisites for impunity of political corruption to disappear, there must be solutions, otherwise there will be no way out of the political crisis, said Tsoneva.

The lack of an institutional response to political corruption is at the heart of the political crisis, she insisted.

If the third mandate also fails, this conversation must continue in the next parliament, otherwise there will be no way out of this spiral of elections, believes Antoineta Tsoneva.

In her words, "political dialogue cannot be replaced by fierce attacks, insults and actions that incite opposition".

In response to a question whether the PP-DB see in the statements of the GERB leader a hand out for the next administration, Antoineta Tsoneva emphasized that "there is scope for real actions", but it is important whether in this parliament they cannot be made "the necessary gestures, acts, through which this type of interaction can be realized".

"The bills are ready and we could act, not be left with bare declarations."

A way out of the crisis cannot be found by just one political force, noted Tsoneva. According to her, there is "polarization that has been injected into society" and there is a risk to the parliamentary republic.

"In view of the development of the first and the second mandate, the implementation of the third will be a very difficult exercise. This does not mean that there should not be a conversation", commented Antoineta Tsoneva in the program "Sunday 150".

Whether DPS without Peevski would be an acceptable partner in the next National Assembly can be confirmed or not by actions in this parliament, before making political requests for the next elections, she explained.

Tsoneva defined as "a very important process for the entire political system" this "DPS to be pushed away from this one-man, rather aggressive management that we are witnessing".

If this process is authentic, it will help DPS and take away from Delyan Peevski his positioning in the center of every picture, she opined.
