There are so many pressing bills and problems, and four parliamentary groups want the parliament to go out in vacation. This is what the chairman of the parliamentary group of “There is such a people” told journalists. Toshko Yordanov after the Chairman's Council held this morning, broadcast by BTA. Yordanov announced that the topic was discussed at the council, and, in his words, only “There is such a people” and “BSP for Bulgaria” have insisted that the parliament continue to work.

„There are extremely urgent bills and problems that this National Assembly must solve. There are problems with Unit Six of the Kozloduy NPP, which is a serious challenge. There are a bunch of other laws that may or may not be passed by the National Assembly, but they are urgent. At the same time, four of the parliamentary groups want us to go on vacation. Some want us to leave as early as August 2, others want from August 9”, Yordanov said.

„ Our proposal to the BSP is to work at least throughout August, because when September comes, and if there are elections and the third mandate is not obtained, they will want to go out in September in an election campaign, although according to the Constitution work must be done even then“, Yordanov added.

„At the moment, there is the National Assembly, which has been doing nothing for a month and a half, as GERB delayed the inclusion of the committees. Now that there are committees, there are more than 60 submitted bills, they want to abolish the National Assembly and for two months for the people's representatives to wave, he also commented.
