The 20-year-old girl injured in the explosions in fireworks warehouses near Elin Pelin, who is housed in "Pirogov", is in danger of life. She has 85% burns and has a very serious outlook. This was said by Prof. Nikolay Gabrovski from "Pirogov", quoted by BNT.
"Everything possible was done, but the 48-year-old man died, my condolences to the relatives of the deceased. We are fighting for the life of the girl, who has quite extensive burns and, unfortunately, inhalation of poisonous gases, which makes the situation extremely difficult and worrying," Gabrovski added.
In his words, the condition of the 20-year-old girl is very serious, life-threatening.
"This is a severe burn, with a very bad outlook, but we are fighting for the life of each patient until the last", emphasized the medic.
"We are doing our best. The teams are engaged, there was a full mobilization of the teams from the whole hospital. We were ready to do everything possible," Gabrovski added.
