"The motives in the decision of the Constitutional Court are not legal, but political, and this is evident,", he stated in "The Day" begins with Georgi Lyubenov" Anton Kutev - spokesman of the caretaker governments of Stefan Yanev and Galab Donev.
"There are two drawbacks - the EC praised us for the judicial reform, which they canceled. All along I doubted whether the separation of the SJC was a real judicial reform, but still there was some attempt to control the Attorney General, attempts in the right direction, for which Europe praised us. What the people wanted, they did not do, and what the Westerners wanted, they did the opposite.

According to Kutev, in this case the SC used an "old legal trick" - the process may be correct, but it must be decided through a Great National Assembly.

"The SC was one of the few non-politicized and non-compromised bodies. Right now, with this decision, I think he is deeply compromised. For a Bulgarian, there is no other way but to seek complete change".

He pointed out that the politicians in our country have extremely low ratings and because of the disapproval of the society, they cannot form a stable government.
For many people, the presidential republic is the end of the political impasse, Kutev said. However, according to him, there are other options.

"The presidential republic is a cliché and there are many questions here - can this president, who has been so far, run for office - most likely he will not be able to. That is, this presidential republic cannot be done with Radev. Another question is whether to have a unicameral, bicameral parliament, etc."

If the formation of a government fails once again in October, the entire system will be rearranged - with new parties and new players, he commented. According to Anton Kutev, Dimitar Glavchev will remain prime minister in the next caretaker government.

"I'm not sure the president has much interest in forming his own government.
The government is deliberately circumventing the Constitution and the president with the candidacy of Nikolay Nenchev for ambassador to Ukraine, Anton Kutev also said. According to him, Rumen Radev should not have remained silent on the matter in order to make it clear who was responsible for this appointment.
