"Nothing dramatic is happening in the BSP. There is a normal process in the BSP after the elections. The result of these elections was catastrophic, the left fell below all catastrophic values, with less than 20 MPs. The left voters went on strike, they didn't vote for anyone else, they didn't understand why the left appeared divided into 5 parts.

This was commented by the member of the BSP National Council, Alexander Simov, in the studio of "The Day ON AIR".

He is adamant that in the early parliamentary elections the left must appear strong, and until then there should be no focus on what separates the individual left formations, nor a competition for who is the most left. And he defined the criticism from Cornelia Ninova as something normal.

"A new left platform is about to be created, it is not a mechanical unification of leaders. Ninova and the circle around her are 15 people and another 150 fans on social networks. This is close to sabotage, it is starting to look like a negation of itself, the idea of stopping this leftist union will not do. There will always be dissatisfied, detractors, the left unity will always have its enemies. They can write whatever they want, they are speakers of the past," Simov said on Bulgaria ON AIR.

The guest categorically confirmed that Cornelia Ninova can no longer be a People's Representative of the BSP, as this would be in violation of the rule of 12 years as a People's Representative introduced by her herself.

Alexander Simov stated that he does not know the appointed acting Prime Minister. In his words, the president, who was "with his hands tied" has reached the nomination.

"She is not a pure political figure. We don't know her, it's one thing to be above the party, another to say "I'm not a political figure". She was not involved in politics, the caretaker government has all the responsibilities of a regular cabinet," Simov also said.

He called for responsibility and non-partisanship after the upcoming early elections in order not to enter a new cycle of early elections.
