PP send a gentleman's letter to GERB for some 10 billion BGN

Four years ago, the mafia clans quarreled. Borisov gave Peevski to Magnitsky

Behind us are the youth of change. These are delegates from all over the country. Today they will make a democratic choice of their president. The most important conversation we had with them is what real measures should be taken for young people in Bulgaria. They shared with us what needs to be done in order for young people to stay in Bulgaria. They want policies for young families and doctors, expect opportunities for programs to buy homes for young people. All these policies will see them in our program.

This was stated by the co-chairman of "We continue the change" Kiril Petkov before the founding meeting of the youth structure of the PP - “Youth for Change”.

"Everything we talked about with these young people requires clear priorities for the future of Bulgaria," added the other co-chairman of the PP Asen Vassilev. "These priorities require will. Yesterday we asked all parliamentary groups, including GERB, that there are three laws that separate Bulgaria from having more medical helicopters, from having high-terrain ambulances, from having investments in hospitals, from having sanitation. All this blocked because of three unpassed laws. I heard Mr. Borisov yesterday talking about how everything was very good four years ago.

Four years ago, the mafia clans fell out. Borisov gave Peevski to "Magnitsky". Some pictures of him under the sheet came out. They had a fight with the Skulls about gambling. We were not there at all then, and this mafia war continues to this day. Four years ago there were 1 million people below the poverty line. Four years ago there were pensioners who could not buy milk and bread. Let's not talk about what happened four years ago, because we, these young people and all Bulgarians don't care what happened four years ago. We all care about what we need to do today to live a better life tomorrow. This parliament still has a month and a half and we can pass these three laws. These three laws will unlock BGN 10 billion. My appeal to everyone is, including the people in GERB - talk to Mr. Borisov to advance these three laws and move the country forward. When we see that the country is moving forward, then we can sit down and talk about whether a government can be formed. But until basic things do not happen in the state, there is no way to move forward", Vassilev was categorical.

"How can we talk about governance with GERB, when they are ready to deprive the state of BGN 10 billion for the comfort of one person. What management? What program are we going to write? Will we lie on paper and not work in reality? Let's start working for real and then talk about management", announced Asen Vassilev.

"We made it clear that we have a model after the elections - a non-party prime minister with public trust. The anti-corruption laws, on which these 10 billion leva depend, will be part of the program of this prime minister. For there to be governance, our reform laws cannot be ignored. These laws will be a condition for the next administration. We will know our natural partners by their deeds, not by their kind words. Lately, we've only been hearing tales from 1001 nights about gender ideology and gender reassignment in children. Complete nonsense. Let's see who will vote for the resignation of the head of the anti-corruption commission, who is Peevski's club. Then we will see who our partners are. This letter will only be for GERB, because apparently Borisov does not understand what we are talking about and these three laws are not clear to him. We shouldn't lie to ourselves and play lost in translation," Kiril Petkov revealed.

"Instead of a gentleman's agreement, today we will write GERB a gentleman's letter. In it we will say - there are three laws that separate Bulgaria from BGN 10 billion. If GERB tells us that there is no way to pass these three laws because, for example, Mr. Borisov does not want corruption practices to be investigated, let us all go before the Bulgarian citizens and say - we will not receive BGN 10 billion, because Mr. Mr. Borisov is afraid of anti-corruption laws," Kiril Petkov added.
