„Undoubtedly, these elections will be interesting, the most -the little because of several processes that happen. The first is related to the split of the DPS. There will also be other interesting battles. It seems to me that the main challenge for politicians is to motivate people to go to the polls. This can only be achieved if people are convinced that it makes sense to vote this time.“

This is what the sociologist from the “Alpha Research“ agency told bTV. Pavel Valchev.

„For the moment, we have no indications of any political activation in relation to the voters. But the election campaign is yet to come, and one of its main goals is to succeed in motivating people to go and vote. Will they succeed – this is a matter of increased difficulty”, added Valchev.

In his words “Alpha Research“ traditionally presents its research at the start of the election campaign to see what the starting positions of the political players are.

„In a few days we will present such a study. It is very important how the political parties will position themselves. With lower voter turnout, exotic political decisions in parliament happen more easily. On the other hand, it is possible with a small number of votes that there will be a regrouping of the weight of the parties”, the sociologist also explained.

According to Valchev, at least three political forces will have to participate in the formation of the next executive power.

„The task of forming a government is becoming increasingly difficult,” he said.
