A Vrachanka woman died on the spot last night after being run over by the fast train train from Vidin to Sofia.
The woman waited in the dark a hundred meters before the railway station and threw herself in front of the locomotive, writes 24 Hours.
The driver found out about the accident only when he had covered the suicide, but immediately reported to tel. 112. The medics who arrived with an ambulance only found the death of the woman, apparently 47-50 years old.
The police immediately started an investigation into the case and notified the prosecutor on duty. With nearly an hour's delay, the fast train left for the capital again.
