Traffic is intense at some from the border checkpoints (BCP) along the border with Romania and Greece. This was announced by the Main Directorate of the Border Police. of the Ministry of the Interior on its website. The information is current as of 6:00 this morning, BTA reported.

In the message, it is recalled that yesterday morning - at 06:00, at the Oryahovo border crossing, due to bad weather conditions /strong gust of wind/, the ferry platform, located on Bulgarian territory, temporarily stopped working. Later in the day from the Ferry complex "Oryahovo" told BTA that they are ready to restore the Oryahovo courses – Beckett.

Traffic is intense at the ''Kardam'' and border crossing ''Durankulak'' at the exit for trucks. From "Border Police" remind that, due to major repairs on the Bulgarian section of the Danube bridge near Ruse, a temporary traffic organization has been introduced, with traffic being carried out in one lane with a pass-through mode and regulated by a traffic light system. In addition to the Ruse checkpoint, drivers in the region can also go to the Silistra checkpoint, Kardam checkpoint, Durankulak checkpoint, Kaynardzha checkpoint. and "Krushari" checkpoint. The last two are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, trucks are not allowed to pass through them.

On the border with Greece, traffic is intense at the checkpoint ''Kulata'' at the exit for trucks. Through the "Makaza" and "Zlatograd" border crossing points and “Ivaylovgrad“ only cars and vans are allowed to pass.

On the border with the Republic of Serbia, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints.

On the border with the Republic of North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints.

On August 26, at the Gueshevo border crossing started the implementation of the activities under the contract related to the construction of the EU Entry/Exit System. The cabins for border checks of passing trucks will be dismantled and replaced with new ones. The traffic of the passing trucks has been temporarily diverted through the lanes for the passage of passenger cars, the message recalls. Certain difficulties are possible when crossing the Gueshevo border crossing.

On the border with the Republic of Turkey, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints.
