Minister Ivan Kondov was today in Berlin, where he took part in the meeting of the ministers of the foreign affairs of the countries of the Berlin Process at the invitation of their German colleague Analena Berbock, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, FOCUS reported.
The anniversary meeting aimed to highlight successes in the field of the common regional market, work with youth and reconciliation projects, but also to draw attention to the need to strengthen good neighborly ties in the process of European integration.
In his speech, Minister Kondov emphasized the importance of good neighborly relations and the principle of taking into account one's merits in the process of joining the EU.
He singled out our country's efforts in terms of connectivity, as a factor in strengthening the EU as a geopolitical actor. Kondov also highlighted the importance of the regional market as a mechanism for promoting understanding and rapprochement with the EU.
