It is high time that France and Germany pay their respects to NATO

Donald Trump's victory is a victory for democracy, for the will for victory and the will of the majority of the American nation to restore the traditional values of America, which in recent years have been sacrificed in the name of a certain type of more extreme policies. The goal of the Republican Party is to put America back on the road to success. He said this on a video link in the program "More from the day" according to BNT, the associate professor of constitutional law, Borislav Tsekov, who is at the headquarters of the Republican Party in New York.

Harris lost because Trump didn't back down. He completely took control of the Republican Party, brought back traditional American conservatism, resisted the constant hatred against him, they even tried to kill him, but he didn't give up, he resisted and that's why he won. This return is something that will be remembered in history, it is a return with undisputed success, Prof. Tsekov said.

From Trump I expect conservatism regarding illegal migration and climate paranoia. There will be continuity in foreign policy, but also a firmer course - it will put an end to the soft foreign policy of the Democratic Party, it will also put an end to the soft approach to Iran. I expect a firm line, but also a line towards peace, but a peace that will not be in favor of Russia, will not be in favor of the autocracy, stressed constitutionalism.

Trump's policy regarding NATO will be a recovery policy, it is high time that France and Germany pay their respects, he added.

According to Associate Professor Borislav Tsekov, the significance of Trump's victory for Bulgarian politics is exaggerated.

But the conservative wave will also reach Europe. Those self-styled speakers who pretend to be the speakers of America, but are actually the speakers of the Democratic Party, will fall into weightlessness, pointed out Prof. Tsekov.
