Tatyana Doncheva: BSP leaders think they will gain advantages by handing out banitsa

She thinks it is better to convene the congress and discuss what needs to be done

Only the UDF has so far held a direct election of the party chairman and in a short time they have replaced several equally unsuccessful ones. At the moment, the BSP cannot specify with certainty how many people are members, nor can they, under the conditions of trust between the main figures, not only at the top of the party's leadership, but even at the regional structures, say how many of these members are and how many people have the right to vote, how many people voted and what the result is - this is how the leader of "Movement 21" Tatyana Doncheva commented in the studio of "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov" on BNT the upcoming election of the BSP chairman.

She believes it is better for the congress to gather and discuss what needs to be done:

"These people who are currently leading the party and who obviously have the understanding that the success of a party is measured by coming to power with 20 MPs and 6-7% of the election results, let them show what they are capable of. They believe that with their presence in power they will have the opportunity before the congress to gain some advantages as people who can hand out pieces of banitsa," Doncheva pointed out.

Regarding Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Zafirov, who will oversee the security agencies, Tatyana Doncheva said that this was GERB's final decision to "let them oversee themselves":

"From the beginning, the negotiations for a government probably started with the following phrase: you will participate in the government, but I will say who will be the minister. Maybe they didn't let Boyko Borisov tell them who the minister will be. In such a situation, after talking for years about how much an expert government is needed, you end up pushing the most political figures."

Tatyana Doncheva believes that from the distribution of regional governors and deputy ministers in the cabinet, an approximate conclusion about positions can be drawn.

Doncheva also said that it is necessary to popularize the introduction of the euro in a way that is accessible to the average person. She is convinced that Bulgaria is not ready for the eurozone and does not meet the necessary criteria.
