President Rumen Radev will be a guest at the solemn celebration of the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, the Bulgarian Alphabet, Education and Culture and Slavic Literature and the city's holiday in Blagoevgrad. This was announced by the press secretariat of the head of state, quoted by BTA.
From 10:30 a.m. in the building of the National Humanitarian High School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" in Blagoevgrad, President Rumen Radev will congratulate the graduates on the occasion of their graduation and the patronal holiday of the educational institution. The Head of State will lay flowers in front of the monument to the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius in front of the high school building. From 11:15 a.m. President Radev will join the traditional festive procession through the streets of the city, which will end at the “Georgi Izmirliev“ square, where the official opening of the Blagoevgrad holiday will take place. The head of state will deliver a speech to the residents and guests of the city.
The celebration will continue with a concert by the “Pirin“ ensemble, a procession of graduates from the Class of 2025, and from 8:00 p.m. a festive concert will be held on the square with the participation of Robbie, Dara Ekimova, Stanley, the “Presto“ Music School and the “Fa Diez“ vocal studio.
