Scandal on the sidelines of the parliament. Representatives of "Vazrazhdane" and the leader of "Velichy" Ivelin Mihaylov got into an argument, with both sides exchanging insults and accusations, reports Nova TV.
His criticism of Kostadinov's people from the parliamentary rostrum provoked the clash in the corridor. Mihaylov himself stated that the reason was "Vazrazhdane"'s allegations that he was lying. And Kostadinov's people even went to events in the Historical Park without tickets. Kostadinov, on the other hand, visited the offices of "Velichye". "I have only helped these people", said Mihaylov. And he denied the accusations that he had cursed MPs from "Vazrazhdane".
"Shouldn't we be carrying out economic activity, should we, as "Vazrazhdane", just wait for state money? These people are parasites, they are only looking to take 2 leva from the state", Mihaylov replied.
"You are a pyramid, the Historical Park is a pyramid", shouted from "Vazrazhdane".
And in the plenary hall, the leader of MECH Radostin Vassilev got angry with Kostadin Kostadinov for not scolding his people and Vassilev had to scold MPs.
"What happened in the hall? Yelling, moaning, screaming during Ivelin Mihaylov's speech. When he said that he had given money to Kostadin Kostadinov, there was terrible tension. I will talk to the speaker of the parliament. With this behavior of "Vazrazhdane" we cannot continue in the same way. Those who are constantly involved in pushing and shoving, I have not seen them submit a single bill, or a single law, or a single decision. He has hired a security company", Vassilev was categorical.
"I cannot accept that this is the behavior of members of parliament. We are not a boxing ring, a pigsty or anything like that. We broke them up with great effort. 20 people surrounding the leader of a party... This is not about Ivelin Mihaylov or Yavor Bozhankov. Someone here thinks that he can impose his will - the people of "Vazrazhdane" with cunning methods. But Kostadinov is never at the center of events. He never blocks the podium, he never fights with Peevski and Borisov. He sent people to harass... This is unacceptable. When we went to break them up, "Vazrazhdane" also had aggression towards us. From now on, we must take measures against its parliamentary group", commented Radostin Vassilev.
Ivelin Mihaylov downplayed what happened.
"We were going to get to a fight, but we didn't. A normal conversation. The PP-DB talked to us and we reached some initial agreement - let's see their vote of no confidence, we will sign it. And they will sign ours. If their vote of no confidence fails, we will continue with ours, because we do not see how this government can continue to exist," he said. "Vazrazhdane" also plays the role of opposition to the opposition, because every time I come out to say something against the government, the biggest noise in the hall, shouts and attempts to disrupt my speech are made by "Vazrazhdane", which is incomprehensible to me, given that we should have one single goal - to overthrow the government," commented the leader of "Velichie".
„People ask me: „Why didn't you unite with Vazrazhdane?”. But we have not done anything to them, nor have we taken their money, nor part of their work. "When we entered the National Assembly, we gave them the position of leading party, let's see what they would do to bring down the government. From there on - nothing. They are only trying to provoke other parties and keep the opposition divided," Mihaylov also stated.
