Former CSKA goalkeeper Ivan Dyulgerov revealed details about his separation from the club. He told "Mach Telegraf", quoted by Topsport, that he had wanted to terminate his contract with the "reds".

As is known, Dyulgerov was involved in a spy scandal surrounding the rematch with Cherno More for the Bulgarian Cup at the "Vasil Levski" National Stadium, won by Sofia 2:1, which sent them to the final.

The strange thing about the whole story is that everyone in CSKA knew right after the match that Ivan Dyulgerov was at the "sailors" hotel, but the scandal actually broke out after the end of the season. Then the management of the "Reds" announced that the goalkeeper had been removed from the team and an investigation would be conducted to see if the accusations against him were justified. In the end, however, no such investigation was conducted, the "Reds" camp confided.

The other day, a short announcement was made officially announcing that the club had released the goalkeeper.

"CSKA has terminated its contractual relations with Ivan Dyulgerov and from today he is no longer a player of the "Army", wrote the "Reds", and from this short announcement it is clear that the club insisted on the separation.

However, he claims something completely different.

"My contract with CSKA was terminated at my request. All sorts of nonsense was written and said about me. I believe that the club did not stand behind me. "They suspended me, and they had no evidence that I had done anything to the detriment of CSKA. I did not feel support from the club and decided that it was better for my future to go another way. I wish the team success and I can categorically say that I have not done anything to harm CSKA," explained Ivan Dyulgerov.
