Plamen Dimitrov: The government has slept through months. During this time, the opponents of the euro have done their job

In public transport, the main problem is the lack of drivers, from there everything starts along the chain. This nonsense with the unification of public transport in one company has already been done. The problem is another - the current operational management of the city has received managers of companies that it cannot control, commented the leader of the Podkrepa CT Dimitar Manolov

In public transport, the main problem is the lack of drivers, from there everything starts along the chain. This nonsense with the unification of public transport in one company has already been done. The problem is another - the current operational management of the city has received managers of companies that it cannot control. This was commented on by the president of the Podkrepa CT to BNT Dimitar Manolov, quoted by novini.bg.

„Optimization of costs is the responsibility of management, I am „for”, but not to reduce salaries, but to invest in working conditions. The dispute with the mayor and the municipality will continue. We cannot expect that all costs will be included under revenues”, said the president of the Confederation of Bulgarian Trade Unions Plamen Dimitrov.

According to Manolov, the conversation about the problems in public transport is not valid only in Sofia.

Regarding nurses, Dimitrov specified: „There is enough money in this sector. The issue is resource management. In hospitals, we currently have clarity about the clinical pathways, we do not have clarity about who works how. The number of nurses is already below 30,000, we do not have a 1:1 ratio between doctor and nurse. Nurses, by definition, work a month and a half a month. Some envy their salaries.”

About the introduction of the euro in our country, Dimitrov specified: „There were months of sleepless nights by the government, which wanted the moment of the report to come and then we could start talking seriously. During this time, the opponents of the euro did their job and now people are divided.”
