A 46-year-old man was detained for the murder of his mother in Sliven. This was announced by Commissioner Dimitar Velichkov from the Regional Police Directorate, NOVA reported.
The crime was committed on Friday morning.
According to investigators, the suspect inflicted multiple stab wounds on the 68-year-old victim.
The two lived in an apartment in Sliven.
The man himself reported the murder.
