If the Palestinian group "Hamas" rejects US President Donald Trump's plan for peace in Gaza, Israel will "finish its job" and bring home all remaining hostages, Israel's permanent representative to the United Nations Danny Danon said, quoted by Reuters, BTA reports.
"If they reject the plan, Israel will finish its job the easy way or the hard way. Their return (of the hostages) cannot wait. This is not just a roadmap for their return. "This is a plan to end the terror that began on October 7, 2023," Danon said at a UN event marking the approaching second anniversary of the start of the war.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that "Hamas" had about three or four days to respond to his proposal for a peace agreement in the Gaza Strip, which provides for the disarmament of the movement. He warned that the militants risk "paying in hell" if the group does not sign the agreement, Agence France-Presse reported.
Yesterday, the White House released a 20-point proposal aimed at definitively ending the conflict sparked by "Hamas"'s bloody attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. The attack resulted in tens of thousands of casualties and reduced the Gaza Strip to rubble.
