The South Korean government is considering various options to improve relations with North Korea, a spokesman for the Ministry of National Unification said, quoted by Reuters, BTA reports.
The statement was made in response to media reports that Seoul is considering allowing individual trips to North Korea for tourist purposes.
The spokesman declined to comment specifically on the proposal, stressing that the government is exploring various options for developing inter-Korean ties.
