The cheapest sports car or what if Dacia launched Sandero RS (VIDEO) - 1

Earlier we told you about Sandero RS, which was launched in Brazil under the Renault brand. It belonged to the second generation of the car and had an interesting atmospheric gasoline engine with a volume of 2 liters and a power of 150 horsepower.

But if you want to dream, why not consider the Dacia Sandero RS 2024, which is based on the latest version of the car? We're bringing it to you, albeit only in digital format, so you can imagine what the cheapest sports car on the market could look like.

The truth is that the entertainment is very attractive and turns the humble Romanian hatchback into a car that would catch the eye of any enthusiast. And not for nothing, it includes many special elements, which you can see in the video that we show you at the end of the article.

Sandero RS 2024 features reduced ground clearance and a wider track integrated under slightly larger fenders. I think the contrasting red accents are appropriate, as are the sporty bumpers and the beautiful V-spoke alloy wheels.

The brakes have been upgraded to match the car's performance. At the rear, don't miss the highlighted diffuser along with the two oval tailpipes. Otherwise, the car will continue to use a practical five-door body (the three-door body is all but gone) and therefore, like the conventional Sandero, will continue to offer plenty of space in the back, as well as a boot capacity of around 300 litres.

And which engine would suit this affordable sports car? We'd settle for a 158bhp 1.3 TCe turbocharged petrol engine, which with mild hybridisation comes with a manual gearbox, which is even better, but a Renault-sourced seven-speed dual-clutch automatic wouldn't be out of place either.< /p>

And putting the icing on the cake at a hypothetical price of €20,000, it couldn't have ended any better. In short, as we always say, Dacia has huge potential for growth, with more passionate SUVs or niche cars. It's just a matter of managers not taking too many risks...
