Jeep Avenger with 100 thousand orders in Europe - 1

Jeep Avenger has become a surprise hit in Europe, with over 100,000 orders by mid-2024. This achievement comes despite the gradual introduction of different powertrain options and an ever-expanding range. As of September 2023, the Avenger has received 40,000 orders, indicating brisk sales of over 60,000 units within a year. By comparison, annual Renegade sales in Europe typically range between 50,000 and 80,000 units, depending on the year.

Launched in late 2022, the Avenger marks Jeep's entry into the EV market. Built on the Stellantis platform, it was initially offered as an all-electric model. Later, in 2023, a limited-edition version with an internal combustion engine (ICE) was launched in selected European markets. This version is equipped with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine. In late 2023, the Avenger range was further expanded with the introduction of a mild hybrid (e-Hybrid) variant. This variant combines the same 1.2-liter turbo engine with a 48-volt system, finally offering buyers the choice of an automatic transmission.

The Jeep Avenger 4Xe was also recently revealed, which is scheduled to appear in the fourth quarter of 2024. This flagship model will feature a more powerful hybrid configuration with two electric motors, making it the only version powered by all-wheel drive (AWD) in the subcompact SUV range.
