The Women's World Car of the Year (WWCOTY) has accepted as a member of its the jury is the Bulgarian automotive journalist Ina Georgieva. WWCOTY is the only car award in the world made up exclusively of female motoring journalists and includes a jury of 79 ladies from 56 countries.

"I am honored to be a member of the world jury of the most prestigious automotive women's organization,", says Ina. “I am happy that there are other ladies like me, from different parts of the world, who can be assertive. However, today half of the drivers on the planet are women. Therefore, the opinion of women in automotive journalism is extremely important”

The Women's World Car of the Year is the only motoring awards panel in the world made up exclusively of female motoring journalists. It was founded by New Zealand motoring journalist Sandy Mire in 2009, with her as president emeritus, while Marta Garcia is the organization's executive president.

This award aims to recognize the best cars of the year and give a voice to women in the automotive world. The voting criteria are based on the same principles that guide any driver when choosing a car. Ladies don't choose a “women's car” because cars are not gender specific.

Aspects such as safety, quality, price, design, ease of driving, benefits and environmental footprint, among others, are considered in the vote. The presence of women in the world of cars is also a goal of the organization.
