Spies have spotted a new six-door Mercedes-Benz limousine. Interestingly, the model is based on the E-Class and has an additional row of seats in the center. There is probably a 204-horsepower four-cylinder engine under the hood.
According to Carscoops, this limousine was created by the masters of the Binz workshop - a company specializing in converting Mercedes-Benz models into special vehicles, such as ambulances, patrol cars, hearses and cars for state needs, including representative limousines.
The last six-door E-Class was introduced in 2010 and was stretched by 1.13 meters, making it 5.98 meters long. It had three rows of seats, including a pair of individual seats in the second row, which were separated by a center console.
The test prototype of the new model has new central doors with standard handles, but in the production model they will most likely be mounted flush with the body. The E200 emblem on the trunk indicates that the car has a two-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces only 204 hp. and 320 Nm of torque.
In its regular form, it allows the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 240 km/h. Other technical details about the upcoming model are not yet known.
