Yumakli said that agricultural products account for 300 billion USD, or 5% of China's foreign trade volume of 6 trillion USD. USD for 2024, while the agricultural trade volume between Turkey and China last year amounted to USD 789 million, which represents only 1.6% of the total trade volume between the two countries.

The minister mentioned that a report on pests for citrus fruit exports was prepared following a visit by a technical delegation from China to Turkey. "I think a lot of high-quality Turkish agricultural products will reach China," he said.
