"Radev is not a sole master. He can single-handedly appoint Constitutional judges. The Parliament also has one, but after many debates and hearings. The same thing happens with the heads of the services - if he doesn't like it - he stops it. Now I must say that the most terrible thing that should worry us and disturb our sleep is war".
This was stated on the sidelines of the National Assembly by GERB leader Boyko Borisov.
And he continued: "The aggression that Russia is exercising is monstrous. I am very worried indeed. The world is heading for war. That is why we must have very strong services. Radev cannot play as he wants with this government, because it was elected as fairly as he himself".
I have protected his personal appointments (of Radev). Everyone accused me of this. I will recommend voting for these people. What he is doing with the parliamentary groups - nothing is being done against, but for better work. Why did I say for a year, while it was his services that I personally protected, that we would not replace them. They should be left to work in peace.
After 27 years, the monitoring mechanism in our country fell. Yesterday, everyone in Europe voted to abolish it, with the exception of North Macedonia. "I would order such synchronization. As for Schengen, for the eurozone, this government had to come in order for this mechanism to fall", he added.
