This is how the trade union headquarters responds to today's allegations by the chairman of the Bulgarian Confederation of Industrialists and Trade Unions, Kiril Domuschiev, that the Confederation of Industrialists and Trade Unions is behaving like a "radical political organization" after proposing to raise taxes and social security contributions.
Domuschiev called on the companies that are members of the Bulgarian Confederation of Industrialists and Trade Unions to cease any talks with the Confederation of Industrialists and Trade Unions, since, in his words, the union proposals will lead our country to a "Romanian scenario of inflation and debt crisis".
The subsequent position of the Confederation of Industrialists and Trade Unions emphasizes that the calls for the termination of the social dialogue raise concerns about the undermining of democratic practices, as the proposed public discussion is not an end in itself, but a reaction to real imbalances and injustices.
