"Vazrazhdane" does not support the idea of rotating the NA Speaker. This was announced by the party leader Kostadin Kostadinov on the sidelines of the parliament on Wednesday.
He also said that the formation will submit a bill that would prohibit persons sanctioned under the global "Magnitsky" law from holding high state or party positions in Bulgaria.
"We are a Euro-Atlantic country, a member of NATO, led by the USA. They are our protector and defender, so it is more than logical for the Euro-Atlantic crowd to support our bill on the topic. GERB, DPS and PP-DB claim that they are fighting corruption. Our draft laws will be two in total - for amendments to the Electoral Code and the Law on Political Parties. There will also be references to the transitional and final provisions of the Law on Local Administration", explained Kostadinov.

"Currently, portions in power are being redistributed, and the ITN are not reacting. The BSP coalition has already collapsed. Not having a budget by now is a precedent. We call for a re-establishment of the state, we need a semi-presidential republic," Kostadinov commented on the recent shake-ups in power.
