The National Council for Tripartite Cooperation will consider four bills for amendments to the Labor Code. Three of the proposals were submitted by the PP-DB.
The first is to eliminate Mondays as holidays if official holidays coincide with Saturday or Sunday.
Their other proposal is that 15 days of leave, which is due to the father after the birth of a child, can be used flexibly and according to the needs of the family until the child turns one year old.
And the third proposal is that the accumulated leaves during maternity leave can be used on an hourly basis to pick up or take a child to kindergarten or school. The Bulgarian Industrial Chamber has already issued a statement that it will not support the proposals.
The social partners will also discuss the proposal of the Minister of Social Affairs related to an EU directive to promote collective labor agreements.
