The euro is not a panacea. This opinion was expressed to BNT and "The Day Begins" by Lilyana Pavlova, Vice President of the European Investment Bank (2019-2023).
"But the euro creates opportunities", she added and explained: "But we should not relax".
According to Pavlova, the state's campaign to change the currency unit from 2026 is in full swing and thanks to it, people really already feel calm. She believes that people will see weeks or months after the euro comes to Bulgaria that nothing terrible is happening.
Liliana Pavlova stated that prices are rising with and without the euro.
According to her, entering the eurozone is an extremely great opportunity for Bulgaria.
"It is in our hands to mobilize both politically and economically," Lilyana Pavlova also said.
