The parliament adopted at first reading changes to the Law on the Administrative Regulation of Economic Activities Related to Oil and Oil Products, which relate to the introduction of the figure of the special commercial manager in "Lukoil" - Bulgaria. The proposal was adopted with 130 votes "for", 71 "against" and two "abstained", reports "Focus".
The sponsors are from "DPS-New Beginning", GERB-SDS, "There is such a people" and "BSP-United Left".
The changes allow the appointment of a special manager of "Lukoil", who will dispose of the refinery's assets in the country.
"Focus" recalls that the company "Gunvor" withdrew its proposal to buy the foreign assets of "Lukoil" after the US Treasury Department described it as a "Kremlin puppet".
The bill also states that it requires expanding the powers of the special commercial manager, provided for in the law on the administrative regulation of economic activities related to oil and petroleum products, since the current factual situation is much different from the hypotheses assumed when introducing this figure.
