"Champagne and tears" - this is how Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev described the second year of his administration, BNT reports.
He stated that an enormous amount of work has been done, the city is developing, there is progress and reasons for pride, but also many challenges.
He identified financing as one of the main problems.
As for the increase in the price of parking zones in Sofia and their expansion, Terziev commented that citizens will be able to see the results in years.
In his words, "now a connection is being made between why people's money is being taken and what it will be invested in".
Vasil Terziev also noted progress regarding kindergartens.
He stated that there are 1,365 more places, with 15 kindergartens currently being built and a plan is being made to can the municipality deal with this problem?
