The parliament is to vote today on the withdrawal of the draft budget for 2026, NOVA reported.
This came after a government decision provoked by the wave of protests in the country.
Along with the state budget, the estimates for the State Social Security and the Health Fund for next year will also be withdrawn.
The withdrawal of the budget must pass with a deliberate decision of the National Assembly, since it was voted on at first reading. The idea of the cabinet is to propose a new draft bill to be voted on by the end of the year.
