Parvan Simeonov: Borisov will now try to say that if there is any drama with the euro, it is the fault of the protests - 1

People have shown that they are ready to go out to protests again and again if their demands are not met. This was commented on in the program “Hello, Bulgaria” on Nova TV by sociologist Evelina Slavkova from the “Trend” agency. According to her colleague Parvan Simeonov from the “Myara” agency, the big question now is related to Rumen Radev's moves.

“We are at another point where we are talking about democracy and about returning the power of institutions. The big question is what will happen in the next elections? Who will remain in government? Who will be the next government? Because people have shown that they are ready to come out again and again if their demands and understandings of what democracy and the state should represent are not met,” said Evelina Slavkova.

“Borisov will now try to say that if there is any drama with the euro, it is the fault of the protests. He is also trying to distance himself from Peevski, who took everything upon himself with his idea of counter-protests”, said Parvan Simeonov. “The other thing Borisov will try to do is to remain suitable for future distribution for some coalitions or thematic majorities”, the sociologist believes. And he added that the big issue now is related to Rumen Radev.

“If he jumps now, he may be the main beneficiary of all this, along with PP-DB, which will strengthen in this situation”, commented Simeonov.

Now, in his words, there is also a problem with the critically low trust in the elections. “We measured 16% trust in the elections in March, when the Constitutional Court revised the result. This is shocking”, commented Simeonov. According to him, the issue with the caretaker government follows, and after the elections the judicial system will be on the agenda.

Evelina Slavkova also believes that the issue with Rumen Radev is important. “If we now enter the hypothesis that Rumen Radev does not jump and these political parties that we have at the moment go to elections, we will get much more of the same as we used to get back in time. There will be no dynamics in electoral relations and we will continue in the same way. That is why we are currently seeing this concentration of energy around Rumen Radev. He comments daily and gives "straws" that he will jump, that he will participate with his own political project, in which he will be the face. This may lead to an increase in electoral relations - more people will come out to vote, because there will be something new. The new always provokes people to come out to vote, "said Slavkova.
