Prof. Mihail Konstantinov: Radev will not enter the political arena. The electoral code is becoming a serious disgrace - 1

It is more normal for the elections to be held in April, so that we are not buried in snow. Politicians have no wisdom. There will most likely be no new political player. President Rumen Radev's project has two options - one with him and one without him. It is more likely that there will be one with him. People want something new, but it is not known how. There is no such case for a president like ours, elected by the entire people, to come down and engage in politics, except in Bangladesh.

This was stated by mathematician Prof. Mihail Konstantinov in "Denyat ON AIR".

The future arrangement of deputies

According to him, one should look at what benefits the Bulgarian people, and not one or another politician.

"Two respected agencies - "Market Links" and "Alpha Research" published two studies that coincide. Of the current quadruple coalition, a triple coalition remains, because one small party is sinking. This triple coalition, according to "Market Links" will have 123 mandates, and according to "Alpha Research" 124 mandates", Konstantinov added for Bulgaria ON AIR.

The President of the National Assembly

In his words, Rumen Radev will not enter the political arena.

"The electoral code is becoming a grave disgrace. Everywhere they say not to open it before elections. However, our deputies are about to make the same mistake they are making for the tenth time. In Europe, 1% of the population votes with machines like ours. With us, it becomes 2%. After the introduction of the machines in 2021, electoral activity has permanently decreased by 500,000 Bulgarians. Permanently at all ballot boxes where voting is done in both ways, 68% choose to vote on paper", the expert pointed out.

Prof. Konstantinov is adamant that there is no time to introduce new machines.

"It is not just about buying the machines, people also need to be trained in this technology. Any significant introduction to election technology requires 10 years to implement and master," he explained.
