The New Year comes with new water prices. For most water companies, the EWRC approved a price increase, but there are also areas with a cheaper service, Nova TV reports.
Water will be the most expensive in Silistra – 6.44 leva per cubic meter with VAT, with an increase of 4.8% since January. Razgrad is also among the areas with expensive water. There, one cubic meter will cost 6.33 leva, with the approved price increase for next year being 1.1%.
Shumen is next with a price of 5.96 leva, but here next year they will pay even less than 1% less.
The biggest price increase is for Kardzhali – almost 14%, but despite this, the price per cubic meter remains lower than the record cities – 5.19 leva.
In Sofia, where there are the most consumers, the price increase is almost 12% and a cubic meter of water will cost 4.12 leva from January.
They will pay cheaper water in Yambol – there the reduction is almost 12%. A cubic meter will cost 4.52 leva.
In Vratsa the price will be 5.48 leva, with an increase of 8.9%, in Veliko Tarnovo the cubic meter will be 5.12 leva, with an increase of 8.8%, in Gabrovo – 4.93 leva, with an increase of 8.4%, in Varna it will be 5.92 or an increase of 6.6%, in Burgas – 5.28 leva – an increase of 1.4%, and in Plovdiv the price will be 3.73 or an increase of 4%.
