Georgi Todorov to FACT: In life, we have one ingredient in man that is eternally valid – the soul (VIDEO) - 1

In the beginning, in a historical aspect, we are waiting for a change, because we have a prophecy that we will have time for the end of the world. The world will have an end, it is not infinite. We see that all developments – both technological, political, and anthropological – if you will, lead in this direction. This refers to the dementia of man, which will certainly increase, because technologies “eat“ our thinking, our work, our micromotor skills – everything – and take the place of man. And he cannot help but degrade. He announced this to Lili Marinkova in the “FACT“ studio and in the show “Conversation“ theologian Georgi Todorov.

„All these trends, visible and measurable, show that this downward movement of humanity will continue. And in a moral sense, we cannot expect any surprises in a macro-historical plan. We can expect and hope for good surprises in a more medium-term plan and in our human plan. There are always people who are saved, and there always will be. Yes, it is possible that there will be periods when it will not be the case, as Saint Athanasius the Great opposed the whole world and then it turned out that he was right. Purely theoretically, a period of rise of a country or a continent could be experienced. Because we see how the possibility of moving around is increasing - instead of with our feet, with a spaceship - and that is good. But technology also increases the possibility of committing sin. At the technological level, things cannot be stopped“, added the guest.

“But how can one go wrong… If we talk about these trends of multiple genders, for example. This is how the question of man is posed. If man begins to “dissolve“ in space – not knowing where he ends, not knowing who he is, being able to change his identity: today I am a man, tomorrow I am a woman, the day after tomorrow I am a cat, I have the right to be a stump. And if thanks to technology we can change our bodies – let's say, I implant a hand that is 5 meters long, which can be extended – this technological possibility has no limits“, said Georgi Todorov.

“And the most interesting thing is that with the extension of life, we have a single ingredient in man that is eternally valid – the soul. We grow old, we get sick – but the soul is eternal. When a person tries to be eternal without a soul, he replaces himself“, the theologian also shared.
