The Sofia Municipality continues its intensive work to normalize garbage collection in the most affected areas of the city - – “Poduyane“, “Slatina“ and “Lyulin“. The increased capacity is maintained today, with a total of 19 trucks working on the ground in the three areas. This is clear from the official announcement.

District „Poduyane“
4 trucks worked in the area, servicing the neighborhoods „Levski V“, „Levski G“, „Levski – houses“, „Hadzhi Dimitar“ and „Suhata Reka“.
„Slatina“ District
Five trucks worked on the field in the areas of „Sofia Airport“, „Foreign Ministry“, „VTU „Todor Kableshkov““, the area of the former hotel „Pliska“, the streets „Lidice“, „Prelom“, „Atanas Ishirkov“, „Acad. Georgi Bonchev“, „Hristo Chernopeev“, as well as in the „Reduta“ neighborhood – along the streets "Yundola", "Blaga Dimitrova", "Kobilino branishte", "Bricebor", "Ilarion Dragostinov", "Peter Mitov", "Slava", "Kutlovitsa", the square between “Maragidik“ and “Kalimanci“. Work was also done in the "Hristo Smirnenski" district, on the streets "Marko Bochar", "Mirkovo", "Ivan Shterev", "Kiril Bozhikov", "Ivan Sergiev", "Boris Novoselski", and "G. Asparuhov – Gundi“, „Hristo Halachev“, „Mudren“, „Alexander Momnev“, „Kamchia“, as well as on „Slatinska“, „Shipchenski prohod“, „Geo Milev“, „Nikolai Kopernik“, „Atanas Uzunov“, „Kosta Lulchev“, „Ivan Dimitrov – Kuklata“, „Sitnyakovo“ and “Boyan Magesnik“.
Last night, waste containers burned in the “Slatina“ area. The situation was brought under control in a timely manner thanks to the rapid response of the fire brigade teams. An investigation is currently underway to clarify the causes of the incident. An additional crew will be working on site today to clear the affected area and restore normal service.
„Lyulin“ District
According to „Sofekostroy“, 8 trucks worked in the area, distributed in „4th microdistrict“, „5th microdistrict“ (two trucks), „3rd microdistrict“, „8th microdistrict“, „1st microdistrict“, „2nd microdistrict“, „9th microdistrict“, „10th microdistrict“, „6th microdistrict“, „7th microdistrict“, „Center“ zone and „Filipovtsi“ quarter.
Total for the day from the „Poduyane“ and „Slatina“ districts 108 tons of waste were transported, with a standard daily rate of 90 tons.

Today, 5 trucks will operate in the region along the „Alexander Ekzarh“, „Vladimir Vazov“, railway line, the carriage „Vladimir Vazov“ – „Levski Vekoven“ – „Todorini kukli“, the carriage „Vasil Kanchev“ – „Rezbarska“ – „Vladimir Vazov“ and „Makgahan“ – „Rezbarska“ – bridge „Chavdar“, as well as in the „Alexander Exarch“ – „Vladimir Vazov“ – „Botevgradsko Shosse“ &ndquo;Rila Monastery“, the neighborhoods „Levski G“, „Levski V“ and the local lane of “Botevgradsko shose“.
Slatina District
Six trucks will be working on the ground, servicing the areas of Sofia Airport, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Todor Kableshkov University of Technology, Shipchenski Prohod, Sitnyakovo, Boris Hristov, Geo Milev, Svetlostruy, Hristo Smirnenski neighborhood, Vladovo intersection – „Geo Milev“, „market „Slatina““, „Ciklama“, „Madren“, „Slatinska“, the carriage „Hristo Chernopeev“ – „Tsarigradsko shosse“ – „Asen Yordanov“ – „Shipchenski prohod“ and „Hristo Chernopeev“ – „Shipchenski prohod“ „Alexander Zhendov“ „Tsarigradsko shosse“, as well as on „Ivan Dimitrov – The Doll“, „Simeonov Vek“, „Velcho Atanasov“, „Boyan Magesnik“ and „Maragidik“. Additionally, work will be carried out on the streets „Georgi Minchev“, „Popova Shapka“, „Dimitar Sofianets“, „Asenova Krepost“, „Georgi Obretenov“, „Rumen Voivoda“, „Stoil Voivoda“ and „Detelin Voivoda“.
One pinch and one multilift will work in the „Hristo Botev“ quarter.
