15 witnesses were questioned in the "Petrokhan" case, the main version is murder with subsequent suicide.
"Nothing is unraveling, nothing will be unraveling, conclusions must be drawn - such a qualification "murder and suicide" does not require an investigation, given the gunshot wounds, the presence of weapons. If it's not murder, it's suicide. Death was caused by gunshot wounds to the head, that doesn't give any answer. I don't know if it will ever unravel. One thing is certain - our society is deeply sick," said former Interior Minister and former BSP leader Mihail Mikov in the studio of "Denyat ON AIR".
Morals and religion in school
He appealed to the people's representatives to accept moral and religion classes in school.
"When morals and religion are not taught, then Buddhist and other stories are taught. Today, President Radev also spoke out on this case, there is no need for that. Murder is the final phase, the motives must be seen here. This is a basic and fundamental issue. This can be understood from many interrogations, stories of acquaintances, relatives. The issue related to pedophilia is already penetrating the media. Nobody is against homosexuality, but what is happening is a signal to society and parents," Mikov added on Bulgaria ON AIR.
According to him, the deaths of the last three could have been prevented if there had been a faster reaction.
"Russia detained the killer of their general in Dubai, and we can't find out 70-80 km away that there is a camper. It's good that the person who has a job there did this work, because we would probably have found out on June 2, when people went up to Okolchitsa. So many cameras, there are cameras everywhere and at the same time we didn't seem to be able to use them to see where this camper had gone," the former interior minister emphasized.
Mikov is adamant that our society needs to think about how far we have come.
Krum Zarkov - the new leader of the BSP He is of the opinion that from now on the BSP has a lot of work ahead of it. Asked if he would return to the party, the former leader replied: "I would, when I see that it meets my understanding of the left. I am a socialist. If Krum Zarkov calls me, I will help when I see that the BSP is taking the right steps. No time should be wasted, I know that there are currently serious internal party problems, but let them make all their efforts by April 19". Mikov does not think that the BSP will fall out of the Bulgarian parliament.
"This is not a hope only for the BSP, this is a hope for Bulgaria, that there will be a left-wing party in the Bulgarian parliament. I have been a BSP supporter since Saturday. Rumen Radev's party has no indications of being left-wing. Everything there is more secretive than Petrohan. Politics is not done like this, because at some point the audience will get tired of waiting for these great secrets - which people will be on the lists, what kind of policy they will have", explained Mikov.
"Krum Zarkov should not be prevented from leading the party in the right direction. They should realize that there should be a left-wing party in the Bulgarian parliament, along with all its sins and shortcomings. With this choice, the BSP is giving a very powerful signal both to the disappointed members and to those who often see the discrepancy between words and deeds", added Mikov.
