There is still an avalanche danger in many places, the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross told BTA.
The temperatures are negative, it is cloudy or foggy, and in places there is a light wind.
There have been no incidents with tourists in the last 24 hours.
In the mountains today it will be cloudy with snowfalls, but they will gradually stop and the cloudiness will break up and decrease. The wind will blow moderately from the north-northwest. There will still be conditions for blizzards and drifts along the mountain passes. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 0°, at 2000 meters – around minus 5°.
