Why do military planes share a runway with civilian ones?
According to Ganev, there is no panic, but real fear.
"We live here. This government, the previous one, and President Yotova are full of cynicism that they are not taking measures similar to Spain. To stop the madness of these planes being at a civilian airport. There is no other case like this," the MP from "Vazrazhdane" pointed out.
Ganev spoke about employees who work at the airport and are shocked by what is happening.
"This is not a military airport. People who work in air traffic control contacted us and said that they are worried because civilian planes are being forced to circle over Sofia, just because they are waiting for military planes to tell them when to take off at any moment, when they are ready to take off. We are a target," he also commented.
With the ongoing war and attacks, there is no way we will not have a situation in which the number of military planes does not increase, Ganev believes.
