Personnel changes continue in the Ministry of Interior. The three deputy directors of the SDVR have been replaced, NOVA learned. At 2 p.m., the director of the directorate introduced his new deputies.
Senior Commissioner Lachezar Kolev, Senior Commissioner Miroslav Danailov and Senior Commissioner Dobromir Breshkov have been relieved of their posts. Senior Commissioner Nikolay Peltekov, Senior Commissioner Kristiyan Tonev and Emilian Petkov have been appointed in their place.
The three have worked in the system of the internal affairs department until now. Tonev was the head of 4 police stations, Peltekov - head of the "Vehicle-Related Crimes" sector, Petkov - deputy head of the "Specialized Police Forces" sector.
Previously, the heads of the General Directorate "Gendarmerie, Special Operations and Combating Terrorism", the General Directorate "National Police" and the General Directorate "Fighting Organized Crime" were dismissed.
By order of the Minister of Interior Emil Dechev, the directors of 25 out of a total of 28 regional directorates of the Ministry of Interior were also replaced.
