This was stated by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the BSP Krum Zarkov to journalists in Ruse, where he will take part in the celebration of 130 years since the founding of the socialist party in the city. He emphasized that the leader of the BSP - OL in Ruse Denitsa Ivanova is a Rusenian to the core, knows the city, raises her family there and is a specialist in a very important area for the city - European projects and programs. "We are sending her to the Bulgarian parliament so that the most European Bulgarian city can benefit to the greatest extent from European funds and solidarity. All candidates on our list are very high-quality and good professionals.", the leader of the left emphasized.
On the topic of the extension budget, Zarkov stated that it is necessary because the state and municipalities should not stop functioning. "We stood behind the fair demands of unions and municipalities for a reasonable five percent increase for certain sectors. We will not engage in a populist competition. I hear the Minister of Finance saying that this is necessary, I think we will reach a consensus next week.”

Asked about the Peace Board, the BSP chairman explained that apparently a large majority in this parliament has followed the orders of Delyan Peevski, who is trying to introduce Bulgaria into an organization with an unclear goal. "Being unclear, it becomes dangerous. You see the world around us. BSP is categorically against Bulgaria joining this initiative of President Trump. Behind it is the obvious desire to replace the international legal order with something with unclear contours. Such decisions should not be made by a parliament at the end of its mandate. We find the decision that was voted on yesterday to be frankly unconstitutional.", the socialist was categorical.
Krum Zarkov emphasized that while we are preparing to replace the legislative branch, which will issue a new executive branch, a practical usurpation of the most important post is taking place in the judiciary - that of the Prosecutor General. According to him, the Supreme Judicial Council, in its prosecutorial college, refused to implement a clear law. "From here, from Ruse, I appeal to all parties and their leaders to position themselves right now and say how they assess the behavior of the Supreme Judicial Council and what their opinion is regarding the situation of Acting Prosecutor General Sarafov.”, Zarkov also said.
