It is estimated that about 80% of energy supplies to Asia come from the Persian Gulf. The disrupted supplies are causing concerns and there is already talk of a day when reserves will be used. „Now we do not have normal relations with Russia and we do not have much of an alternative when it comes to fuels. Europe does not receive enough fuels and gas, with only about 20% coming from the Persian Gulf. At the same time, US President Donald Trump, through his ambassador to the European Union, has been exerting pressure to hurry up with the certification of supply agreements in order to secure gas. So Europe, if we look at it soberly, will have the most problems with access to energy resources. These are the trends internationally“, Hussein also said.
“The concerns about this crisis are enormous and the time until Friday will be decisive for the outcome of the war. On Friday, US Marines are expected to arrive to be transferred from Asia to the Persian Gulf. Then the five-day deadline that Trump gave for negotiations with Iran expires. Israeli media reports that there will be intensive bombing, which further complicates the possibility of peace talks. Iran has stated from the first day that it wants talks on fundamental solutions - a final end and guarantees that this will not happen again. However, this is not an easy process and can hardly be achieved quickly“, she added.
