A heated debate was demonstrated tonight on the show "Panorama" on BNT by Stanislav Balabanov from "There is such a people" (ITN), Radostin Vassilev from MECH and Yordan Ivanov from "We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB).
The topic of the illegitimacy of the acting Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov was sharply touched upon by Balabanov: "Gyurov violated the Constitution. He did not even notify President Yotova that he would go to Ukraine. And when it comes to the 20 million dollars - an agreement that concerns military aid and support (and this is just the start for the next 10 years)... This should have happened at a session of the Bulgarian parliament.
"Who are we?", Ivanov did not understand his words.
"Your former head of your parliamentary group, who is the acting prime minister through the back door. He doesn't even ask the one who elected him, but went to Ukraine. You didn't let us find out about the note from Iran. And the ITN should have come out and informed the entire Bulgarian society. Because this thing threatened our national security," Balabanov explained to him.
And he turned to his other opponent - Radostin Vassilev: "It's good to look at yourself and distance yourself, because your own self-image sometimes distorts the picture. And this is good advice. Because you are the leader of a political formation. But when you had serious aspirations to become a minister, our parliamentary group gave you a board game. It was called "The Little Politician". If you keep it and play it now, play it more often to see how you look from the outside".
"And the other thing I wanted to tell you and not to forget - because it also became a fact in the 51st parliament, thanks to Slavi Trifonov and me personally, the MECH PG existed in the 51st parliament. Because your other colleagues disintegrated", Balabanov added.
Balabanov even went so far as to say that he and Radostin Vassilev had "interesting relations".
"Even I found it interesting. "Weren't they sexual?", Vassilev asks him with a sneer.
Radostin Vassilev asks Balabanov if he knows what the word "Discourse" means. "You, Toshko Yordanov and Slavi Trifonov, introduced the discourse of vulgarity into the National Assembly".
