I voted for a strong Bulgaria in a strong Europe. This is what I want to leave to our children. This is what Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev told journalists after exercising his right to vote.
Terziev said that he voted with a machine and stressed that suggestions about easy manipulation of the machine vote are frivolous. “This is nonsense for children. There may be technical difficulties in places, but it is a fact that the machine vote is significantly more difficult to manipulate“, he pointed out. According to him, explanations for the specific technical problems should be given by the competent institutions.
In his characteristic style, Terziev also commented on his appearance with a screwdriver and a flash drive: “On the advice of Borisov and Peevski, I went out to vote… prepared.“
He added in a more serious tone: “Now seriously – come out too! Bulgaria becomes strong not with apathy, but with active voting and civic energy. And then it will be where it belongs – in a strong Europe.“
