The former intelligence officer and head of the press service of the Council of Ministers in Zhan Videnov's government, Krasimir Raidovski, has died. The sad news was confirmed by his daughter Nikoleta, wrote dir.bg.
Krassimir Raidovski was born on June 6, 1946 in Plovdiv. He graduated from the "Vasil Levski" National University of Economics in Veliko Tarnovo and the Higher Institute of Economics in Sofia.
He was a full-time employee of the First Main Directorate of the State Security. He was appointed on 30.10.1968 as a third-degree intelligence officer and gradually rose to the position of head of department in 1985. In the meantime, in 1976, he was trained for 10 months at an intelligence school in the USSR.
Raidovski worked at "Sofia Press", the Bulgarian National Television and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the period from February 1995 to November 1996, he was head of the press service of the Council of Ministers under the administration of Zhan Videnov.
