88-year-old driver caught with positive test for drugs in Shumen region, police reported.
On April 20, on „Kamchia“ Street in the village of Mengishevo, an accident with material damage occurred between a car and a truck.
The drivers of both cars were tested for alcohol and drugs.
The truck driver's samples were negative. The 88-year-old driver of the car tested positive for cannabis.
He gave a blood sample for chemical analysis and was detained.
The car is owned by a 66-year-old man from Targovishte.
