With the elections, we saw things that we had not seen in other elections - in the direction that the Ministry of Interior was largely doing its job for the elections this time and this showed. Compared to last year, the results are different. The parties that buy and control votes are known - there are several of them. We see how the results for some are ten times smaller. It can be said that the prevention that the Ministry of Interior did, as well as the profiling of this contingent that deals with trade and influence on votes, including among minority groups and other people who in one form or another sell their votes and act illegally, has had an effect. These are results that seem more realistic. This was announced to Lili Marinkova in the studio “FACTI“ and the program “Conversation“ by Dr. Eng. Rosen Tsvetkov, MP from “Progressive Bulgaria“.

“Now, however, there must be a continuation. It must not happen that the signals have been filed, the Ministry of Interior has done its job, and then everything stops in the prosecutor's office, the investigation or the court. It must be clarified who the connected persons are, who the organizers are, and not some people are put under an umbrella. It should not only come to punishing the low-level executors. There must be major investigations, cases and effective sentences for these vicious phenomena“, the guest added.

“Over the last 20 years, these practices have degenerated and become increasingly better organized. We see it in all elections. It's just that these elections were a little different, including because of the voter turnout and because, in my opinion, a large part of the contingent was profiled and the local deribei were scared that there would be signals and real actions this time“, said Rosen Tsvetkov.
