Parliament will begin work today with a hearing of the Chairman of the Council for Electronic Media (CEM) Sonja Momchilova regarding advertising messages related to gambling games on radio and television, according to the adopted work program of the National Assembly. The point is the first of the day and is at the request of the "Revival" parliamentary group, BTA reported.

The topic was raised during the discussion of the regulator's 2022 report last week. Then the parliament did not accept the CEM report.

In front of the deputies, Momchilova noted that in 2022, in addition to a number of round tables and discussions, the problems of artificial intelligence were discussed for the first time at a Balkan meeting. According to her, experts from Italy have promised free know-how to combat gambling advertising. It is extremely important to put an end to gambling advertising, said the chairman of the CEM.
